The Division of Diversity Management supports the Comptroller’s commitment to providing a leadership model for addressing diversity issues in the public sector. The Division:
- provides guidance throughout the agency and facilitates policy to establish a fair, fully inclusive work environment for all Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) employees
- helps carry out the Comptroller’s Executive Order prohibiting discrimination and harassment, as it's charged with helping implement all federal, State and local laws related to Equal Employment Opportunity
- offers sensitivity training and consulting services to employees, supports recruitment and retention activities, advocates for people with disabilities, and sponsors internal and external events that celebrate diversity
Sexual Harassment Policy
OSC is committed to maintaining a workplace free from sexual harassment. OSC’s Sexual Harassment Policy applies to all employees, applicants for employment, interns, whether paid or unpaid, and non-employees providing services in the workplace, regardless of immigration status. Reports of sexual harassment may be made by filing a complaint internally with the Division of Diversity Management or with a government agency or in court under federal or State antidiscrimination laws.
