The NYS Tug Hill Commission is offering a free workshop including: a general overview of firefighting, fire protection by municipality type (city, town, village), fire districts, budgeting and reporting requirements. The workshop will be presented by the Office of the NYS Comptroller and the NYS Association of Towns, and is being held at the West Monroe Volunteer Fire Department.
