Approved State Contracts and Payments for August 2017

In August, the Office of the State Comptroller approved 1,737 contracts for state agencies and public authorities valued at $2.7 billion and approved more than 1.9 million payments worth nearly $9.6 billion. The office rejected 162 contracts and related transactions valued at $10.4 billion and nearly 800 payments valued at nearly $3 million. DiNapoli Releases August State Cash Report

State tax collections totaled $28.2 billion for the five months ended in August, $133 million above updated projections, primarily due to double digit growth in business tax collections, according to the state cash report issued today by State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli.

DiNapoli Announces State Contract and Payment Actions for January 2017

State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli announced today his office approved 1,399 contracts valued at $2.62 billion and approved nearly 2 million payments worth nearly $9.9 billion in January. His office also rejected 196 contracts and related transactions valued at $1.1 billion and nearly 1,200 payments valued at nearly $14.4 million due to fraud, waste or other improprieties.

DiNapoli Releases January State Cash Report

State tax collections totaled nearly $62.7 billion through Jan. 31, a decline of $658.3 million or 1 percent from the same period last year, according to the state cash report issued today by State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli. Year to date tax collections were $167.9 million higher than the latest projections included in the Third Quarter Update to the Financial Plan released with the Executive Budget on Jan. 17.

DiNapoli Appoints Government Relations Staff

New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli announced today he has named Erin Stevens as deputy comptroller for Intergovernmental and Community Affairs, Christina Baal-Owens as director of Community Affairs, and Tad Mack as the regional director for the Finger Lakes.
