New York State Comptroller DiNapoli Receives Prestigious Award From National Italian American Organization

New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli was selected for the Guglielmo Marconi Award, the highest award given by the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America. Prior recipients of this award include a U.S. President, ambassadors, congress members, astronauts, actors and playwrights.

Three Indicted in Multi-State Prescription Fraud Ring

Ciera Washington, age 35, of the Bronx, New York; Raven White, age 35, of the Bronx; and Bryan Otero, age 36, of Wood-Ridge, New Jersey, have been arrested on an indictment charging them with healthcare fraud, healthcare fraud conspiracy, and aggravated identity theft.

DiNapoli: Former Vernon Center Fire Department Treasurer Pleads Guilty to Stealing Over $300,000

Jonnell Rose, former Treasurer of the Vernon Center Fire Department, pled guilty to stealing more than $300,000 from the department, State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli, Oneida County District Attorney Todd Carville, and New York State Police Superintendent Steven G. James announced today.
