*For members of Tiers 5 and 6, the law limits the amount of overtime pay included in the calculation of your final average earnings (FAE), which is used to determine your NYSLRS pension. However, the 2026-27 New York State Budget enacted in May 2026 increased the annual overtime limit for PFRS Tier 5 members and the annual overtime limit for PFRS Tier 6 members.
